Recalling Forgotten Memories Using Hypnosis
We’ve all had the experience of racking our brains to try and remember where we left our keys or the name of someone or that extra item that you needed to buy in the super market. We’ve all felt that frustration and annoyance at knowing we know it and yet not being able to find the information.
It is thought that the conscious mind the domain of the short term memory is but a fraction of what constitutes the human mind and that the rest if made up of subconscious mind and longer term memories. For example if I asked you to memorise a number such as a phone number the information would be buzzing around in your conscious mind until you had learnt it. Once you have learnt it it is passed into your unconscious mind so that you do not have to consciously repeat it to yourself but can call upon it as and when you need to. Quite often people experience memory problems when they are seeking to access the information they have passed over to their subconscious mind and have consciously forgotten about. The information is there in the subconscious but finding it can be a little like looking for a book in a great library with the lights off and only a torch to help you.
Usually the information shows up again sometime later when you are least expecting it. This is a good thing to know because it tells us that getting stressed and continuing to try to find the information when we cannot doesn’t help. You are much more likely to get the information back if you relax and think about something else. It’s a little like when you are late for an appointment and driving somewhere unfamiliar. As soon as you begin to feel stressed you will go into foveal vision and miss all of the clues that are there to get you to your destination. When you are relaxed you can see more in the periphery and notice the clues that will send you in the right direction.
However when the information required is really lodged away from the conscious mind hypnosis can be a useful aid to retrieve it. Many people now have heard of using hypnosis for past life regression but we can also use hypnosis to regress to previous times in our current life. This can be useful for those who want to go back in time and find lost information this could be a set of lost keys or something related to a deeper psychological problem.
As with any hypnosis work the practitioner must have in place the boundaries within which they feel comfortable working. For example I will work with someone who wants to resolve an issue from a memory of the past but I will not conduct a memory recall for someone who suspects but does not know and wants to find out if they have been abused in their past. This is because if someone does not know if they were abused there may be a good reason why the unconscious mind is keeping this information from them perhaps they are emotionally not strong enough to deal with this information. If they did then recall a memory of abuse how would they know that it was true and not imagined? This could be very detrimental to a person’s relationships if they incorrectly begin to believe that they were abused.

Overcoming Your Fear Of Rejection

I have suffered with a paralyzing fear of rejection for most of my life. This leaves me unable to be as assertive in my private and professional life as I would like to be and sometimes it is crippling. Intellectually I know I shouldnt be so worried about what other people think but the feelings are still there. How do I overcome this irrational feeling?
When you have a fear that is irrational you cant sit by the sidelines figuring it out. You need to take small steps towards your fear. What kinds of situations make you worry about rejection? List these. Then put them in order from least fearful to most fearful. Start with your least paralyzing situation and think of one action step you are willing to take that addresses the fear rather than letting it run you. When you have accomplished this reward yourself in some way. Then take the next small step.
For example if you are afraid to attend workrelated parties but that isnt as frightening as giving a talk in front of your colleagues pick that one. You could go to the party with a friend. You could give yourself permission to leave after an hour if youre not enjoying it. You could promise yourself you will talk to at least two or three people.
If you still feel crippled speak with your doctor. There are medications for crippling social disorders. No matter what action you take acknowledge yourself for your courage. What others may find easy is not easy for you. So give yourself credit for your efforts and remember to reward yourself.

Manifesting Abundance-whats All The Fuss-5 Practical Points To Use
When “The Secret” introduced the laws of attraction and manifestation I jumped in feet first. Caught up in the whirlwind of the manifestation phenomenon I was hooked. I could just see all of it My new house the millions of dollars new cars clothes. You know how it goes…. So patiently I waited….and waited…and nothing happened.
What went wrong! The laws of attraction stated that if I visualized I would see the manifesting of my desires come to be.
Well they didn’t. :
Secretly disappointed I filed the thought in the back of my mind as I slipped back to my old ways of thinking about abundance and prosperity. Obviously it wasn’t mine to have. The universal laws waved as they passed me by. Goodbye hopes and dreams.
But I didn’t entirely abandon the ideology. The magic of the manifestation concept keep peeking at me and I was intrigued. There was a piece of the puzzle that I was missing I just wasn’t seeing it. So began my journey. I asked myself Really what is manifestation.
This is what I learned.
- We attract and manifest abundance every day. It is not a magicians trick. It is something that happens every day to each and every one of us. Just look around your environment and ask yourself: Of all the possessions I own which one of them was manifested? Well I am telling you all of them!!!
- Manifestation is the result of our desire or intent to have or possess. In our desire we manifest. I desired the truck I drive the beautiful farm I call home my wonderful husband the rich and beautiful life I live.
- The lack of manifestation is only dictated by the limits we put on ourselves though our beliefs.
- Manifestation will occur without fail if and only if we give energy to the end result and worktake action towards the goal.
- Sometimes it just isn’t that easy. Getting there requires trial and error. Expect bumps in the road. Its just the way it is.
Lets be realistic about manifestation. Look the word up in the dictionary. Manifest to make clear or evidentreveal. Somehow I believe that we all have misconceptions about manifesting abundance. The laws of the universe do work but don’t forget they have to penetrate our thick heads and work with the laws of our minds. The objective is to understand how they work together. Take some time to analyze your thought and believes. Sometimes it takes a little guidance to figure out how your mind works. I will venture to guess that what holds you back is just a simple tweak on your part.
The thought I want to leave with you is manifesting abundance starts with you. You are the choreographer of your destiny no one else.
